Wasim M breezy 156 runs in the 9^th Dulsco Ramadan Cricket Tournament as he helped Jashanmal National Company advance in the 20-over tournament being played at Zabeel Park cricket grounds Dubai. Jashanmal trounced UPS by 112 runs as Wasim scored a 156 to join Group B toppers Afridi CC in the knock-out stage of the tournament being organised by Dulsco SC in association with the Dubai Municipality.

Needing an outright win in their last group match, Jashanmal piled up 286 for the loss of six wickets with Wasim belting 15 sixes and as many fours for his lighting 156 made in only 47 balls. Wasim displayed such tremendous power and skill to record the fastest century in the tournament. Salath 45, Shekawat 24, Asanka 20, Harshath (12 not out) and Lushan (11 not out) were the others who contributed for Jashanmal. Shezhad bagged three wickets for UPS whilst conceding 59 runs.

With an asking rate of 14.8 runs per over, UPS succumbed under pressure and were bowled out for 174 runs with four balls to spare. Zeeshan was UPS’s top scorer with 39 followed by Imran 33, Sharshad 28, Roshan 16 and Basit 15.Ushan, Shekawat and Salay claimed two wickets each for the winners while Sandeep and Raven picked up one apiece.

Wasim of Jashanmal was named the man of the match for his hurricane ton.
