SHARJAH – Ahmed Hadi returned with a three-wicket haul as Al Futtaim Panatech defeated Al Mawsim by 11 runs in the second Al Dhaid Ramadan T-20 Tournament, organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council, for the Conmix Cup at Al Dhaid Cricket Village.Al Futtaim Panatech, batting first, posted a challenging 178 for seven with Kaleem contributing a fine 40 off 25 balls with three fours and three sixes.
Abbas Ali Khan (33 off 29 balls), Harkirant (22) and Shahzad Hussain (21) were the other major scorers. Sajjad Ahmed took two wickets for 35 runs. Al Mawsim CC, in reply, batted well, but stumbled near the post. Abdul Ghafoor (45 off 28 balls with two fours and four sixes) kept his team’s hopes afloat with a fine batting. Ibrahim Malik (28 off 21 balls) and Sajjad Ahmed (26 off 23 balls) also made good starts to their innings, but failed to provide finishing touch to the match. Ahmed took his three wickets for 43 runs.
